Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club

The bustling rooftop deck features a bar, seating, and of course a legendary shuffleboard court! The Royal Palms is mostly a walk-in shuffleboard club so there is no appointment necessary. Courts cost just $40 and are rented on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests can enjoy a game of shuffleboard, board games, and their delicious drink menu. It’s worth noting, the club doesn’t serve food but instead, you can choose from one of the food truck vendors which conveniently drive right into the building.

Z Bar

Located on the sixth floor of the Peninsula Chicago is the swanky Z Bar. This top-notch rooftop bar gives you a taste of luxury and is loved by both tourists and locals alike.

Z Bar really has it all from amazing views of the city and globally-inspired cocktails to delicious food and a bustling ambiance set by a live DJ. It’s also worth noting that Devereux is not open on Monday and Tuesday but feel free to check it out Wednesday through Sunday.

Aba

Aba is one of the hottest spots in Chicago and once you visit this stunning rooftop bar you’ll quickly realize why. The bar features delicious Mediterranean and Californian dishes. Previous patrons have raved about their short rib hummus dish, lamb ragu, Jerusalem bagels, and many other crave-worthy menu items!

The rooftop bar features plenty of room for its guest as it boasts 4, 000 square feet of space. The lush greenery, swanky seating, and fire pits that will have you hanging around all night. Just be sure to get there early as the fire pits fill up almost immediately upon opening.

Boleo

Whether you visit Boleo in the summer or in the winter you’ll be welcomed by the tropical paradise atmosphere. The bar also features a large retractable glass roof to ensure you stay warm no matter the season.

Even the menu features delicious South American offerings like plantain-infused Scotch and their legendary empanadas. Boleo hosts a happy hour from 4:30 PM to 7 PM Wednesday through Friday which gets you tasty drinks at a great price! The specials include $8 wine, $6 beers, $8 Disco Punch, and be sure to stick around for the nightly entertainment!
